# FileWave Kiosk 1.0 for macOS and Windows (EOL)

## What

FileWave [Kiosk 2.0](https://kb.filewave.com/books/kiosk "Kiosk") replaced the original desktop Kiosk for macOS and Windows in FileWave 15.3.0. Kiosk 2.0 is 64-bit. During the 15.3.x and 15.4.x transition, the client also included Kiosk 1.0.

## Transition history

Kiosk 1.0 remained temporarily available for older workflows and rollback during that transition. It is now end of life and should not be used for new deployments.

## Current guidance

Use Kiosk 2.0 for current macOS and Windows deployments. If an existing workflow still calls Kiosk 1.0, contact FileWave Technical Support before changing it so the dependency can be identified.
