Apple Enterprise Connect is a background service and application that allows a mac to better integrate with directory services like Active Directory.

With macOS Catalina introducing kerberos changes, there may be no need for Enterprise Connect. Customers of (or those interested in) Enterprise Connect are advised to contact their Apple assigned System Engineer for more details.


Requirements

  • macOS Mavericks (10.9.x) and above (to use Enterprise Connect)
  • A test Users Active Directory credentials
  • Windows Server 2003 and later
  • FileWave 13.0.0+


Working with EC

macOS Mojave (10.14.x) - SIP Precaution 

To run any terminal commands for automation with Enterprise connect, Apple's System Integrity protection will prevent this. You will need to create a Privacy policy (For an example on making these types of profiles, see: Force Client Observe with Privacy Settings ).

The command line is located at:
