Booster ID Generation

Description

InIf some circumstances, acloned Booster VMs keep the same Booster ID, FileWave may appearshow one Booster as missing or let multiple boosters mayBoosters overwrite athe singlesame Booster recordrecord. inRegenerate the AdminID console.  This can occur whereon each boosterclone isso every Booster enrolls as a copyseparate of another booster, e.g. VM source is identical.record.

WhereRegenerate Booster IDs conflict, it generating a newthe Booster ID willwhen beIDs necessaryconflict.

Directions

RunningRun the following command throughin a Booster shell shouldto forceremove athe existing Booster toidentity configurefiles and generate a new Booster ID.

fwcontrol booster stop && rm -f /etc/xdg/FileWave/Booster.conf && rm -f /var/FWBooster/*.key && rm -f /var/FWBooster/*.crt && fwcontrol booster start

ItAfter willthe thenBooster berestarts, necessary touse 'Enroll Booster(s)' from theirits contextual menu, even if previouslyit enrolled.was enrolled before.
