4.2 Configure Grafana Dashboard Alerts

What

~~Set~~Dashboard upalerts ~~Alerts for those times~~notify you ~~want~~when toa begraph ~~notified.~~crosses a condition you define.

Alerts are available only ~~available~~ for ~~Visualisations~~visualizations of type Graph.

When/Why

~~Leverage~~Use ~~your~~an ~~Web~~existing ~~Admin~~custom ~~Custom~~dashboard ~~Dashboard~~graph ~~elements~~as tothe ~~build~~data ~~Alerts.~~source for an alert.

How

~~Select~~Open ~~your~~the ~~chosen~~graph's ~~Graph~~drop-down menu and ~~from~~select ~~the drop down choose 'Edit'~~Edit:

Select the Notification icon and configure the ~~conditions~~alert ~~as desired.~~condition. In this ~~example~~example, ifthe alert triggers when the total device count exceeds ~~20 devices, a notification will be triggered.~~20.

Add ~~any~~a message asthat ~~you~~tells ~~see~~recipients ~~fit.~~what crossed the threshold and what they should check next.
