Mixed Generation 1 and Generation 2 imagesFileWave forappliances acan fewcoexist, versionsand tothis have overlap, but now because it appears every supported version of Windowschange does support Generation 2 images we are going to stop producing Generation 1 images. FileWave Version 16.1.1 will only have Generation 2 images for HyperV posted. We do not believeaffect that this will be impactful, but please reach out to support if you feel we have missed something on this topic.
If you have a Generation 1 image in use there is nothing for you to do. This change will not impact an existing Server, Booster or IVS image. This is only if you would be setting up a new appliance, and there is no issue if you have a mix of Gen 1 and Gen 2 appliances so your Server might be Gen 1 and your Boosters could be a mix of Gen 1 and Gen 2 or you IVS can be either as well and there will be no issue. This change also has no impact on ourVMware OVA images for VMWare. images.
