7. Optional Windows Imaging with IVS
Windows imaging with the Imaging Virtual Server (IVS) is optional and is not required for Windows Client enrollment, software delivery, or inventory. Start with IVS planning and setup, then capture a suitable image and deploy it only to an authorized expendable target. Confirm backups, network and driver requirements, hosted-server responsibilities, and recovery before any operation that can erase data.
