For a new environment, get the foundation ready before managing devices: prepare your selected Server, install and connect FileWave Central, and complete the initial Preferences checks. By the end of this section, you should be able to reach the intended Server and confirm its identity, access, and required connections. If your environment is already configured, confirm the relevant settings instead of reinstalling it, then go to your platform’s prerequisites. Read how Filesets, Deployments, and Model Update turn planned changes into device work before making your first change.
