Deployment Options

What

The Options tab allowscontrols youdeployment setbehavior, theincluding "rules"install fortype, the installation, such as the timingtiming, and theVPP license assignment typewhen for instance.  These settings vary by type ofthe payload supports those settings. The available options depend on the payload type.

When/Why

For thesimple mostpayloads, basicsuch typeas of installations (an iOS VPP appapp, foryou instance),might weleave maythe notdefaults changealone. anything at all on this tab.  But, if we are doingFor a Windows MSI deployment scheduledthat forshould Friday nightinstall after 5PM,5 thenPM weon mightFriday, setyou severalcan differentuse the timing options into thiscontrol tab.when FileWave offers or installs it.

How

1. Select Installthe typeinstall type:
   1. Direct: (installs automatically)automatically.
   2. kioskKiosk: (Showsappears in athe list of installsKiosk for customerthe user to install)install.
2. (optional)Optionally Selectset Timing,timing. ifIf no timestiming areis selected, FileWave will downloaddownloads and installinstalls as soon as itthe deployment can run.
