Clear Restrictions Passcode

What

The Clear Restrictions Passcode command is used to removeremoves a passcode that has beenwas set to prevent restrictions from being changed.  A restrictions passcode must already be set on the device for this command to showappear in theFileWave admin.Anywhere.

You can makealso deploy an Apple Profile that would preventprevents a restrictionrestrictions passcode from being set.  

When/Why

You would useUse this command towhen removea therestrictions passcode if one was set thatand youis don'tunknown know (or wasforgotten. forgotten).The device Notemust be managed in a way that you must have the proper management of a device to issuesupports this commandcommand; (for instanceexample, it could notcannot be sent to a User EnrolledEnrollment BYOD device).device.

How

UseIn FileWave Anywhere, go to View - Devices, open the ellipsis (...) menu to the right of the device in the View - Devicesdevice, and select "Clear Restrictions Passcode"Passcode.
