FileWave Server is the keycore componentservice tobehind device management.     FileWave server installation.  ThisServer can be deployed as a hosted service or on-premise. For on-premise,premise FileWavedeployments, start from the current DownloadDownloads pagesbook. notThe onlycurrent providerelease page includes the installer, butrelease-specific pre-builtinstructions, VMsand areany available forvirtual quickappliance setup.images.

    Manual Installationinstallation

    If you are not using a pre-built VM:virtual appliance:

    • Download the latestcurrent serverFileWave versionServer andinstaller copyfrom the appropriate release page.
    Copy the installer to the server you plan to use for FileWave ServerServer. If usingOpen a shell,shell open thissession to thethat server,server e.g.as ssh,a putty,privileged etc.user (for example via SSH), and elevate to the root useras required. UnzipExtract the downloaddownload. Run the installer and follow the instructions from that same release page.

    Follow the instructions, regarding the commands required, from the matching download pages.
