IdP redirect URL port 20443
What
In FileWave 15.5.1 there was a change to the redirection URLs used for an IdP setupdevice-enrollment inredirect FileWave so that the 3rd URL wouldURLs use port 20443 instead offor the usualdevice redirect endpoint. Older IdP configurations may still have that redirect URL on port 443 foror HTTPS.may omit the port.
When/Why
InThis changed in FileWave 15.5.1 we wanted to accountsupport for serversenvironments where clients enroll through IdP but port 443 wasis not exposed tofor that redirect. If your IdP setup was created before that change, check the Internet but where clients would enroll via an IdP so a change in port had to be made. All of the setup documentation was updated, but if you setup your server in the past then you may need to update theredirect URLs withinstored in your IdP.
How
Review the IdP setup article for your provider, then check the platformthird youredirect URL. It should use (links below in Related Content) and ensure that you check that the 3rd redirect URL is usingport 20443 insteadfor of 443 or it may have no port listed at all prior tocurrent FileWave 15.5.1. configurations.
FileWave 15.5.1 and newer looks likeuse this URL format for the URLdevice in question;redirect:
https://FWXSERVER:20443/auth/login_via_idp_redirect_for_device
FileWave earlierconfigurations thancreated before 15.5.1 wouldmay have hadused the same URL butwithout ita wouldport, notor have had thewith port or it would have listed 443;443:
https://FWXSERVER:443/auth/login_via_idp_redirect_for_device
YouTo will findconfirm the propercorrect URLvalues for your setupserver, if you reviewrepeat the IdP setup and repeat the step where youFileWave copyAnywhere shows the URLs fromto your FileWave Server.copy. The other 2two redirect URLs areremain on port 443. For best results always copy the URLs from FileWave Anywhere as the instructions show so that you get the URL as it should be for your actual server.
