Description

Guided Access is a local equivalentApple feature that keeps an iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch in one app and can limit touch input to selected areas of the screen.   1. Associate a Single App Mode profile through MDM
  2. Set the device into Lost Mode

By providing aA Single App Mode profile tooverrides Guided Access while the device, MDM willassociation overruleis Guidedpresent. Access.After  Onyou removal ofremove the Single App Mode Associationassociation fromand MDM,update the model, the device willcan be backreturn to normal app use.

Setting Lost Mode shouldcan have thea samesimilar impact.effect.  OnceAfter Lost Mode is de-activated,deactivated, againverify that the device willis beusable backagain.

Quick answer: if an iPad or iPhone is stuck in Guided Access and no one knows the passcode, use FileWave to normalsend Single App Mode or Lost Mode through MDM so you can regain control without the local passcode.
