Legacy macOS zsh Background Item Notification
What the notification means
WhenAfter Ia upgradedMac myfirst upgrades to FileWave Client to 15.3.0 or newerlater, ImacOS sawmay adisplay popup saying "zsh is now running in the background". This is a legacy notification associated with FileWave using the system zsh shell for client scripting.
When/WhyWhat to do
ThisNo happensremediation onceis whennormally firstrequired. goingConfirm to version 15.3.0 or higher ofthat the clientnotification onappears macOS. There is nothing to do. This popup is becauseafter the FileWave clientClient needsupgrade permissionand that zsh is being launched by the installed FileWave Client. The notification was expected to runappear zsh for scripting. It can be ignored and development is going to look at ways to suppress it so that in the future it should not show, but it should only happen 1 timeonce on each machineMac during the transition to 15.3.x.
