Rename a FileWave Desktop Client Safely

Renaming a desktop client in theFileWave adminCentral consoleupdates willits now change the Client Name inventory field to match the new name entered and alsoturns off changeSync Computer Name in the client namepreferences. "sync"This setting inkeeps the client'operating system's preferences.computer Thisname ensuresfrom thatimmediately replacing the device is able to connect properly with FileWave instancename. without duplicated entries.  (The Device Name inventory filedfield is not modified)changed.

So, when a client is renamed,After the "rename, confirm that Sync Computer Name" settingsName is turned off:disabled:
