1.5 Dashboard Panel/Widget Layout

What

Dashboard panels/widgets can be moved and resized so the dashboard shows the most useful information first.

When/Why

After you copy or add dashboard content, adjust the layout so related panels sit together and high-priority panels are easy to see.

How

First open the Dashboard with an administrator account that has Read-Write Access; Access the FileWave Dashboard explains the permission and entry point. Read-Only Access is not enough to save layout changes. If you want a separate working dashboard, follow Creating Your Own Dashboard and Copying Widgets (Panels) before rearranging it.

Drag a panel/widget to move it. Use the panel edge or corner handles to resize it, as shown in the video below. When the arrangement is ready, save the dashboard and complete the save dialog before leaving the page. Reopen the same dashboard to confirm the panel positions and sizes were retained; moving panels on screen alone is not a saved result.
