Background Login Items Notification Suppression (macOS Ventura+)

What

macOS 13 Ventura and later can notify users when services such as LaunchAgents and LaunchDaemons are installed. Apple surfaces these controls in System Settings > General > Login Items.

When/Why

For managed Macs, you may want to suppress these background item notifications so users are not prompted about approved management components. The example profile in this article suppresses that notification behavior.

How

Download the attached Fileset and assign it to MDM-enrolled macOS Ventura or later devices that should receive the notification-suppression profile.
