4. Fileset Creation and Deployment

Choose one small, appropriate test item and complete its platform exercise once. Use the shared deployment lesson as a reference for controls, review, troubleshooting, and cleanup, not a second Deployment. Review the target and shared pending changes before a required Model Update, then confirm the result on the device. If you already completed the platform exercise, review its evidence rather than repeat it.

ChromeOS evaluators can finish with the matched-record and read-only inventory outcome in Chromebook enrollment and Inventory Reports; the desktop installer exercise is not a ChromeOS requirement. OS-update pilots and Windows imaging have separate safety and readiness checks.
