View - Devices Overview

What

The Devices view () is the main FileWave Anywhere area for enrolled devices. Use it to open device details and start supported enrollment workflows.

When/Why

Use this view when you need device status, inventory details, group or Smart Group membership, or a starting point for troubleshooting a specific device.

For a field correction on one device, use Edit Device Fields. To reorganize a static group, follow Move to Group and review the content assigned through that membership first. Smart Group membership is controlled by criteria, so its devices cannot be moved out as though it were a static group.

How

In FileWave Anywhere, open Devices and select the device name to open its Device Detail view. Start with Device Info for the device summary. Use Applications to check reported software, Payloads for assigned content and delivery state, and Groups to investigate membership. Inventory reflects the latest device submission, so an offline device can still show old information. Command History is available for Apple MDM-enrolled devices; its absence on a Windows device does not mean there are no policies assigned.
